PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTION / CATALOGUE PRODUCTION
For Shoe Carnival and Shoe Station, I established the eCommerce photography standards across footwear, apparel, and accessories. I defined the required views, framing, and product presentation for each category, creating a repeatable system that keeps PDP imagery consistent across both websites. The apparel photographs featured here are one example of that larger production framework.
Ahead of each apparel session, I coordinated shoot dates with the Creative Director, reviewed product counts and timing, and prepared the set so production could begin immediately. The Creative Director selected the models. On set, I directed the models and photographer while working closely with the Photo Production Coordinator/stylist on garment fit, positioning, and how each product looked on the body. I kept posing controlled so the products remained the focus, and served as the digital technician throughout, reviewing tethered captures and refining framing and presentation as we worked.
After each shoot, I reviewed and selected the photographs, completed editing and retouching, and uploaded the finished assets for the live Shoe Carnival and Shoe Station product pages. These images come from approximately five or six sessions and represent a small portion of a much larger ongoing production. The work demonstrates how I combine creative direction, technical oversight, and a repeatable production workflow to deliver consistent commercial imagery.
